Residential Home Inspection
Detached Home |Town House | Condo & Mobile Home
Your home is one of the biggest investments, most valuable purchases you’ll ever make.
At DPI Dualan Property Inspections we are here to give you the right information, so you can be prepared to take care of your current or future home investment.
We will walk through the home and prepare a report that outlines the home’s major components, their current condition, what needs immediate attention, and what will require maintenance after you move in.
We usually include a non-invasive, visual examination of the foundation and basement, roof, attic, heating and water systems, electrical and plumbing systems, as well as the general condition of the structure itself. Importantly, we will also make note of any fire and safety issues that need to be addressed.
Pre-Sale Home Inspection
When pre-selling your property we can conduct a pre-inspection.
We know that one of the biggest fears of most sellers is that when a buyer does get the home inspected, something will be discovered that kills the sale.
As a seller, you don’t have to wait for the buyer’s inspection. We can help you to perform pre-inspection a non-invasive, visual examination on your property, and get ahead of any issues before ever listing the property for sale.
New Home Warranty Inspections
Before your new home warranty expires make sure you have an inspector look at your home.
We can help perform a non-invasive, visual examination of the current condition of your home, identify defects and report observes deficiencies within specific systems and components before the new home warranty expires.
Infrared Thermal Imaging Camera
We are using an Infrared Thermal Imaging Camera to allows us to identify deficiencies that are not visible to our own naked eye.
Every inspection we do at DPI Dualan Property Inspections includes a free infrared scan of the property.
How does an Infrared Thermal Imaging Camera work?
As defined by FLIR, an infrared camera is a non-contact device that detects infrared energy (heat) and converts it into an electronic signal, which is then processed to produce a thermal image on a video monitor and perform temperature calculations.
What this means is through the camera, and reviewing the images, we are better able to pinpoint items such as moisture intrusion, gaps in insulation, or electrical overheats in a home, and better ensure that we are providing more accurate information on our reports. This device helps provide an accurate report that may reveal potential problems in the house which is undetected through our own naked eye.
